Good guys vs. bad guys.

Superheroes, villains, and gods with bulging muscles all form part of the action. What more could we ask for when it comes to movies such as Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Thor?

Some fans delight in finding Easter eggs in their favorite superhero flicks or discovering clues that may just prove certain fan theories correct. So they binge-watch these movies several times to connect seemingly loose threads and build theories around the films.

Here are 10 of the most outlandish fan theories that surround Marvel’s most popular superhero movies.

Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t seen these Marvel movies, be careful. We’ll reveal information you may not want to know . . . yet. You’ve been warned.

10 Ways The Marvel Cinematic Universe Screwed Their Continuity

10 Coronavirus Prediction

Binge-watching Marvel flicks during lockdown has led to the rise of an “appropriate for the times” fan theory. During a scene in Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve Rogers finds himself in Times Square in New York City. The billboards behind him reflect a bottle of Corona beer and what looks like an image of a virus. Immediately, a theory was born that claimed the movie had predicted the current coronavirus pandemic.[1]

The theory was short-lived, however. Film critic William Mullally did a little investigating and found that the picture of the “virus” was a top shot of dry spaghetti sticks. Even though this theory was debunked on the Internet for all to see, some people are adamant that the virus theory is true.

9 Galactus Connection

In Guardians of the Galaxy, the Collector explains the creation of the Infinity Stones to the film’s heroes. These stones form a major part of the plots in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

While the Collector scene plays out, the history of the universe and the stones is depicted in the background. This has led to a whole new fan theory. It speculates that one of the planets in the scene is Taa, home of Galan. He is a humanoid who becomes Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.

During the sixth incarnation of the Multiverse, Galan became the sole survivor when the universe’s renewal cycle was completed. He then merged with the essence of the Sentience of the Universe and became Galactus.

According to the theory, the Sentience of the Universe is what is seen in the Collector’s lecture about the creation of the stones. Some fans also believe that the design on Galactus’s helmet can be seen on the Celestial’s staff.[2]

If this theory about the origin of Galactus had turned out to be true, then the final Easter egg in the movie was solved—after a fruitless four-year search by hard-core fans.

Alas, director James Gunn shut down the rumors in 2018 by replying to a tweet: “Getting lots of messages about Galactus in the Collector scenes. No, he’s not there in any way.”

8 The Butthole Theory

After Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters in 2018, fans drove themselves crazy trying to come up with plausible theories about which hero in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame movie would be tasked with killing the purple supervillain, Thanos.

One of the craziest theories said that Ant-Man would be the perfect superhero to end Thanos. Ant-Man could easily do this by shrinking down to ant size, flying up Thanos’s butt, and then expanding. This would have “blown up” the villain from the inside.[3]

Luckily, the creators of Endgame chose a different and far less gross way to get rid of Thanos.

7 Brother From Another Mother

It seems that the Marvel Multiverse brings out the ultimate creative side of its fans. When Tony Stark and Steve Rogers became enemies in Captain America: Civil War, loads of theories (beyond the obvious) emerged to explain the bad blood.

For some people, blood had everything to do with it. Some theorized that Peggy Carter, love of Captain America’s life, was the mother of Tony Stark (aka Iron Man). Supposedly, the flirtatious way that Howard Stark (Tony’s father) speaks to Peggy during The First Avenger movie could have led to them getting together after Captain America crashes into the ice and is presumed dead.[4]

However, the timelines don’t work with this theory. In addition, writers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies have confirmed that the intent was always for Peggy’s two children to have been fathered by Captain America.

6 Spider-Man And 9/11

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, it is apparent that Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man) is somewhat afraid of heights. By combining this with scenes depicting skyscrapers, planes, and debris, some fans theorize that Peter’s parents, who lost their lives in a plane crash, actually died in one of the planes that rammed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

However, this idea isn’t plausible as the MCU has its “own version of 9/11” called “the incident,” which is the alien invasion that occurs in the first Avengers movie. The invasion, led by Loki after he is mind-controlled by Thanos, results in the mass destruction of New York.[5]

10 Thunderous Facts About Marvel’s Thor

5 Doctor Strange And The Snap

Some movies thrive on outing the good guy as actually being the bad guy toward the end of the film. In the MCU, it is fairly clear who’s good and who’s bad, but a dark theory aims to turn that ideology on its head.

Doctor Strange, sorcerer and primary protector of Earth, is said to have been behind the jaw-dropping event that saw Thanos snapping his fingers in the Infinity Gauntlet and eliminating half the universe.

According to this theory, Stephen Strange wanted to rid Earth of Thanos as well as Iron Man, Vision, Hulk, Thor, and the Infinity Stones. Strange saw them all as threats to the existence of the planet. But in the end, he succeeded only in getting rid of Vision and Iron Man.[6]

The theory is greatly expanded when considering the rationale behind the demise of each hero and villain (according to Strange). This includes Tony Stark being reckless, Vision being an abomination, Hulk being a loose cannon, and Thor being unable to save his own planet and therefore unable to save Earth. Furthermore, the Infinity Stones posed a threat to reality. By ridding Earth of them, reality would be safe.

It has even been theorized that Doctor Strange didn’t really disappear after the snap. Instead, he faked his own vanishing.

4 The Heart-Shaped Herb

During the Battle of Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America and Black Panther lead the charge against the Black Order and the Outriders. This scene gave rise to the fan theory that the two heroes have similar powers and that they both received their powers from the Heart-Shaped Herb.[7]

Captain America’s power comes from the Super Soldier Serum, which was created by Dr. Abraham Erskine. The doctor’s first attempt to make a super soldier failed, leading to the creation of the Red Skull. After teaming up with Howard Stark, Erskine perfected the serum. Thereafter, the formula was successful in turning Steve Rogers into Captain America.

Howard Stark gave Captain America his infamous shield, which is made of vibranium. However, vibranium is only found in Wakanda. So, according to this theory, Stark would have been the one to hear about Black Panther’s powers and eventually acquire the Heart-Shaped Herb to perfect the Super Soldier Serum.

3 Lighthearted Thor

Thor: Ragnarok was a highly anticipated installment in the vast range of Marvel movies. Soon after it was released, fans raved about how funny the movie was. However, despite the ongoing humorous moments, an undercurrent of darkness included the deaths of Odin and the Warriors Three, the release of Hela, the destruction of Thor’s hammer, the ultimate loss of Asgard’s army, and the complete ruin of Asgard at the end.[8]

A Reddit fan theory suggests that the story of Ragnarok is told by Thor in lighthearted fashion to water down the terrible events that transpired throughout the film. He does this to cheer up the Asgardian refugees and to keep himself sane after the loss of his father and the devastation that was unleashed upon Asgard.

Could this mean that Thor also fabricated some details of his fight against Hulk?

2 Hulk vs. Thanos

When Avengers: Infinity War was released in 2018, a collective gasp reverberated in theaters around the world when Thanos plopped the final Infinity Stone into the Infinity Gauntlet, snapped his fingers, and the heroes, one after the other, dissolved into dust. With a scene as shocking as that, it is no wonder that a host of fan theories saw the light as soon as the credits started rolling.

Another mind-blowing scene in Infinity War shows Hulk battling Thanos and losing badly. Most fans couldn’t wrap their heads around this considering Hulk’s notable strength in Thor: Ragnarok. Even before that, Hulk had pummeled Loki as if he were nothing.

A popular fan theory proposes that Hulk was becoming weaker as Bruce Banner got stronger and started to take over Hulk’s body. By the time the events of Infinity War roll around, the Hulk is sufficiently weakened and unable to stand against Thanos.

In Avengers: Endgame, the Hulk we know is gone forever. In his place, we are introduced to Professor Hulk, who looks a lot like a huge, green Bruce Banner but is lacking brute strength.[9]

1 ‘I Have Telepathy’

Avengers: Endgame broke records worldwide after its release in 2019. One of the most anticipated superhero movies of all time, it would finally provide insight into the ultimate fates of many beloved characters. It was also the first movie that saw Captain Marvel fight alongside the Avengers.

In one scene, Thor is looking at Captain Marvel as if to size her up. When he gets up to stand right in front of her, she meets his unwavering gaze. Even when Stormbreaker flies toward Thor’s open hand at incredible speed just inches from her head, Marvel doesn’t flinch. Thor cements his “approval” of the new addition by stating: “I like this one.”[10]

A slightly eerie theory has it that when Captain Marvel turns around to face Thor, she whispers, “I have telepathy.” Apparently, these words can only be heard with the volume turned up to 400 percent audio.

However, directors Joe and Anthony Russo have shot down this theory. They said it was not part of the many Easter eggs buried in Marvel films.

10 Marvel Characters That Could Destroy Most of DC’s Characters https://listorati.com/10-marvel-characters-that-could-destroy-most-of-dcs-characters/ https://listorati.com/10-marvel-characters-that-could-destroy-most-of-dcs-characters/#respond Fri, 31 Mar 2023 02:15:26 +0000 https://listorati.com/10-marvel-characters-that-could-destroy-most-of-dcs-characters/

If they were men, they would be old men. But these are not mortals; they are giants. The palace of one stands in a city on the eastern coast of a vast country. Men know this city as New York, and in it lives Marvel. A vast land of plains, deserts, and mountains stretches west from Marvel’s halls, and where the land finally meets the western sea, another city stands – Burbank. Near the City of the Angels, DC has built a towering castle.

Although the two giants are not friends and compete for the hearts and souls of mortal men, there is a truce between them. Both have legions of warriors with powers that stretch the imagination. Both have loyal supporters, and some people admire both. But who would come out on top if it came to a showdown?

Marvel and DC both face the same challenge. They need to create superheroes, but these heroes must have an Achilles’ heel. Creating a character with limitless power would not make for a good story because nothing could defeat an omnipotent superhero. They must have weaknesses that make them vulnerable. Many of the best storylines rely on the hero overcoming a weakness; think of Superman and kryptonite.

Similarities between characters from both camps are inevitable. Marvel and DC have sometimes collaborated to pitch their heroes against one another. In 1976, for example, they brought Superman and Spider-Man up against each other. So, here are ten Marvel characters that could destroy most of DC’s Characters.

Related: 10 Lesser-Known Facts About Superheroes

10 Iron Man vs. Machinehead

When a gang of bad guys kidnapped the wealthy genius Tony Stark to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction, they unknowingly bit off more than they could chew. Stark, who had graduated from MIT at just seventeen, built a suit of armor instead.

First stepping out into the Marvel world in 1963, Iron Man’s powers have evolved over the years. Perhaps the biggest leap forward came when Stark changed his own biology after a serious injury. His armor, at least partially, became a part of his own body. Stark is now truly Iron Man.

Yet Iron Man is still a man and has Tony Stark’s flaws. Stark is not perfect, and that is what makes Iron Man human.

The obvious DC equivalent is Machinehead. We don’t really know if Machinehead is human at all. He is effective, but all traces of human feeling and emotion seem to have disappeared. For all his defects, Iron Man would win a showdown because humanity always triumphs in the end.

9 Thor vs. Viking Prince

Some say that Wonder Woman is the closest match to Marvel’s Thor in the DC realm. There are similarities—if you watch Wonder Woman and think of Thor, you’ll see them for yourself. But there is a more obvious parallel—DC’s Viking Prince.

Both Thor and Viking Prince are based on Norse characters. They are both brave warriors who are true to their beliefs and steadfastly defend what is right. However, one difference gives Thor the edge over his DC rival. Thor is a god, and Viking Prince is a mortal.

Although any fight between them would be a close-run thing, Thor would inevitably win. Thor is the son of Odin, an advantage in any situation.

8 Doctor Strange vs. Doctor Fate

The winner in a contest between Marvel’s Doctor Strange and DC’s Doctor Fate would clearly be Doctor Strange. Strange uses Eldritch Magic to convert energy into shields and weapons of great power. He can also use this energy to weave potent spells.

Doctor Fate would be vulnerable to Strange for two reasons. First, Fate’s magical abilities don’t seem to be as powerful. This is, of course, a significant disadvantage, but there is another. Fate is the human host of the magical entity Nebu. Nebu has used other humans as vehicles before, but the relationship is never a comfortable one—indeed, some of the humans have gone insane because of Nabu’s presence.

Doctor Strange would be able to shape this weakness to his own ends and emerge victorious from any direct encounter.

7 The Hulk vs. Solomon Grundy

When the creative teams at Marvel and DC are thinking up new superheroes, Robert Louis Stevenson’s story of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde is often the inspiration. The transition from one character to another is common in superheroes, but Marvel’s Hulk takes this to the next level.

Various characters in the DC roster are similar to Hulk, and Solomon Grundy is one. Grundy’s character has changed over the years—not surprising as he is a reanimated corpse who, having died once, can’t die again. Being indestructible and immortal should mean that Hulk couldn’t defeat Grundy. Both characters are huge, strong, and have plenty of energy, so they should be evenly matched. But Grundy is a villain, and Hulk fights on the side of the right.

Grundy is a vicious beast in most of his incarnations and often reacts to events instinctively. Here is where Hulk has the advantage. He can (although you might believe that it’s a matter of degree) outthink Grundy. He can’t destroy him, but he would win a one-off showdown.

6 Captain America vs. General Glory

DC’s General Glory is fifty years younger than Marvel’s Captain America. Captain America made his debut in 1941 as the United States was gearing up for the World War that would drag him in. General Glory is more than just a copy of Captain America: he is a parody.

First, Glory outranks America and is, if possible, even more patriotic. Captain America’s patriotism is tempered by his rationality; he is a true hero capable of making quick decisions under pressure. General Glory has no judgment at all. His patriotism blinds him to any shades of gray.

Captain America’s cooler head would give him the best of any direct challenge. Perhaps the DC character with the best chance against the heroic Captain would be Green Lantern.

5 Spider-Man vs. Tarantula

Green Lantern might also give Spider-Man a run for his money, and Superman and Wonder Woman almost certainly have the edge over the Marvel hero. There is really no direct equivalent to Spider-Man in DC’s universe, although Tarantula would seem to be an obvious candidate.

Tarantula has been the name of more than one hero in the DC universe. The original was a writer named John Law who wanted to be a superhero. He developed skills that make him an obvious equivalent of Spider-Man. An equivalent, yes, but Law’s Tarantula would never defeat Marvel’s friendly neighborhood superhero.

The reason is that Tarantula is not a superhero at all. He is an ordinary man with acrobatic and hand-to-hand fighting skills, but he can never be superhuman. An average person would require suction cups to climb walls and hang from ceilings. His spider-like abilities are artificial. He could never triumph over the real thing.

4 The Fantastic Four vs. Superman

A dose of cosmic radiation altered the DNA of the humans who would form the Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing made up the original group. DC didn’t directly copy the idea, but in one of The Adventures of Superman (466) issues, Superman battled a group of four astronauts who had received a dose of radiation and gained powers as a result. This was clearly setting up a Fantastic Four lookalike to grapple with Superman. Superman won.

Clearly, DC believes that Superman is more than a match for anyone Marvel can muster. But the range of abilities that the Fantastic Four have, and their teamwork, would make for a strong challenge to most DC characters.

3 Black Panther vs. Red Lion

Black Panther has a lot of strong points that make him a fearsome opponent. Highly intelligent and strong, he is a master of weaponry. He has the guile and wit to better most of DC’s superheroes. But he might struggle against heavyweights such as Wonder Woman and Superman.

Black Panther took his name when he inherited the throne of Wakanda—a country that valued its seclusion and independence. He gained his extra powers from a mysterious herb granting him superhuman abilities. He met the Fantastic Four and decided to leave his country and use his abilities for the good of all humanity.

In the DC universe, the obvious equivalent of Black Panther would be Red Lion. The two characters are very similar indeed. Perhaps this is not surprising as one of the creators of Red Lion—Christopher Priest—had worked on Black Panther while at Marvel. Black Panther is a more well-rounded character; his skills and battle prowess wouldn’t allow him to be bested by his DC twin.

2 Doctor Doom vs. Black Adam

Doom differs from our other examples because he is a villain who first appeared in a Fantastic Four tale in 1962. A similar character appears in the DC universe—Black Adam.

Any confrontation between the two would probably result in Doom coming out on top. Both have great power, but, in the end, Doom’s power has a longer reach than his rival’s.

Interestingly, Marvel and DC brought Doctor Doom up against Superman in 1981 in Superman and Spider-Man. I won’t ruin the story for you if you haven’t read it. Enough to say that Superman has his work cut out for him.

It’s fair to say that, as Doctor Doom offered such a challenge to Superman, he wouldn’t have too much trouble with most of DC’s lesser heroes.

1 Guardians of the Galaxy vs. United Order

The Guardians of the Galaxy first came together in 2008; the original line-up was Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Phyla-Vell, Groot, Adam Warlock, and Rocket Racoon. Fans immediately took to the idea, and the Guardians’ popularity grew. The first movie that starred the heroes came out in 2014 and was the highest-grossing film in its genre that year.

In the DC universe, perhaps the nearest equivalent would be the United Order, a team that the United Planets put together. The United Order is certainly a strong fighting force, but if the Marvel and DC universes were to overlap and the Guardians came up across the United Order, which team would win?

My money would be on the Guardians because the team includes Rocket Racoon. Rocket is a master of war. But he is much more than that. He has imagination and the potential to be the Napoleon of the spaceways. If it came to the crunch, Rocket would outthink the United Order.

Top 10 Strongest Marvel Heroes & Villains https://listorati.com/top-10-strongest-marvel-heroes-villains/ https://listorati.com/top-10-strongest-marvel-heroes-villains/#respond Wed, 15 Mar 2023 20:29:32 +0000 https://listorati.com/top-10-strongest-marvel-heroes-villains/

In the Marvel universe there’s something called the “strength scale”, against which all heroes are measured and ranked in terms of their “raw physical strength.” At the upper end of this scale there are over a hundred heroes who supposedly possess an “incalculable” level of power. This of course makes ranking the top 10 strongest characters in the Marvel universe an exercise in futility, since there are at least two dozen heroes who are said be so strong it’s impossible to quantify their power in any meaningful way.

That said, here are 10 of those characters, in no particular order, to demonstrate how silly comics can get when writers and artists consistently have to one up each other in demonstrating how hard a given hero can punch something.

Happy Endgame Day! This is an encore presentation of a classic list, presented by TopTenz YouTube host Simon Whistler. You can also read the full list here!

10 Supreme Celestial Beings in the Marvel Universe https://listorati.com/10-supreme-celestial-beings-in-the-marvel-universe/ https://listorati.com/10-supreme-celestial-beings-in-the-marvel-universe/#respond Mon, 27 Feb 2023 04:30:53 +0000 https://listorati.com/10-supreme-celestial-beings-in-the-marvel-universe/

In the beginning of the Marvel Universe, there was just one omnipotent being who created the universe. After the Big Bang, a number of celestial beings came into existence. The universe eventually split off into multiple universes, hence why they call it the “Marvel Multiverse.”

In some cases, there are multiple copies of these beings, as well, so the versions of their stories may actually change depending on the comic series they were published in. With that in mind, we’re going to do out best to talk about these character as accurately as we can. Today, we’re going to go over 10 of the gods and celestial beings that rein over the multiverse…

10. The Celestials

After the creation of the universe in the Big Bang, a race of 2,000-foot tall creatures wearing robot-like armor called The Celestials came into existence. They were the very first race of living beings, and they are responsible for pretty much every significant event in human evolution. They are constantly experimenting, and they make improvements on mankind, including the mutant X-gene that is responsible for the X-Men’s powers. The Celestials also created other powerful cosmic entities like the Eternals and the Deviants.

Celestials never truly die, they are just reborn into a new body. That makes them practically immortal. Even though they are all individuals, they contain a sort of telekinetic hive-mind. So, if you communicate with one, you’re talking to them all. Mere humans could never understand the Celestials’ end-goal, but there is a theory that they are experimenting over time, trying to create a perfect species, and destroying the creatures they deem to be unworthy.

9. Uatu the Watcher

There is yet another race that appeared after the Big Bang called the Watchers. They are equally as powerful as the Celestials, and the two have been at odds for billions of years, because they have polar opposite philosophies about how to deal with lesser life forms. As their name suggests, the Watchers have a strict rule that they should only observe life in the universe for the sake of gathering data without actually interfering. But one Watcher named Uatu broke those rules. He had been watching over Earth, and felt compassionate toward humans and their many issues, so he stepped in to help Earthlings.

Unfortunately for him, he was exiled from the Watchers after breaking the rules. So he decided to make a new home on the moon, and he serves as a middleman between superheroes and celestial beings. Uatu has appeared in multiple Marvel comics over the years, and he has helped saved the planet more than once. While we have yet to learn a lot about them in the films, the Watchers made a brief appearance with Stan Lee in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. In fact, you know all of those Stan Lee cameos in the MCU? Turns out he may have been playing Uatu all along.

8. The Phoenix Force

The Phoenix Force is the force of life and passion that exists in the energy throughout the multiverse. It does not have a true physical form, but it usually appears in the comics in the shape of a phoenix made of flame. It is the guardian of all creation, and it guards the powerful M’Kraan Crystal.

Normally, the Phoenix Force does not interact with living things, but it becomes a sort of soulmate with the X-Men character Jean Grey. When she was a child, Jean’s best friend was killed during a car accident, and she used her telepathic powers to attempt bring her back to life. The Phoenix Force was so impressed by her power that it spared Jean’s life. We don’t want to go into too much more detail with this one, since it just might give away too many spoilers for the upcoming Dark Phoenix movie in 2019. (Of course, if you were a fan of the X-Men cartoon in the ’90s, you no doubt know the general storyline regardless of whether you’ve read the comics.)

7. Galactus The Devourer

The cosmic supervillain named Galactus the Devourer has what is called “The Power Cosmic,” which is the ability to survive anything, even if the entire universe collapses in on itself. In order to maintain this level of power, Galactus consumes entire planets for sustenance, and throughout the Marvel comics, he very nearly has Earth for lunch more than once.

He has appeared in the Fantastic Four and the Avengers comic books, and he also appears in the 2007 movie Rise of the Silver Surfer. Which makes sense, since the Silver Surfer is one of the heralds of Galactus–which is how he got his powers in the first place.

6. Master Order and Lord Chaos

Thanos vs. Lord Chaos and Master Order.
Thanos vs. Lord Chaos and Master Order.

Master Order and Lord Chaos were two more cosmic entities created at the beginning of the universe. As their names suggest, they are on the polar opposite ends of existence, and are constantly having a power struggle over causing order and chaos.

But they don’t just fight with each other. Master Order and Lord Chaos both fight with the Living Tribunal and Galactus, and they created a being known as “The In-Betweener” to help them accomplish their goals. In this process, the brothers were merged together into one cosmic entity called Logos, which appeared as a villain in the Black Panther comics. They have yet to appear in any of the movies.

5. Eon

Eon is the “cosmic custodian” of the universe, because he helps to make sure that the planets are functioning properly in order to maintain life. He is also credited for causing some of the world’s unexplained phenomena. Of course, the planet Earth is a particular favorite of his, since it has nurtured so many of these superhuman Marvel heroes.

Eon chose Captain Marvel to become the protector of the universe, and Captain Marvel (all of the various iterations) is of the only superheroes who just may be strong enough to defeat Thanos. We can’t go into too much more details, because presumably, Captain Marvel will become a very important character in Avengers: Endgame if the end credits scene in Infinity War is any indication.

4. Cyttorak

So, if you saw Deadpool 2 and wondered how Juggernaut was so powerful, he has Cyttorak to thank for that. Cyttorak is a demon who was once worshiped by humans, until he was banished from Earth. He was one of eight supreme beings known as the Octessence, each of whom crafted a totem that would imbue a human who found it with immense power. This person was known as an Exemplar, with the goal being for the eight Examplars–each having found a gem and taking its power–to lead an immense war with an eighth of the Earth’s population behind each, and only one faction remaining when the blood and dust settled. And that’s why Juggernaut is not only immensely powerful, but also endlessly bloodthirsty.

The true identity of Juggernaut under that helmet is a man named Cain Marko, who is actually Charles Xavier’s stepbrother. They clearly don’t get along with one another, which is part of why he becomes the nemesis of the X-Men. After finding the power of Cyttorak, Juggernaut’s physical strength made him virtually unstoppable, and there are very few who can even possibly attempt to take him on.

3. Eternity and Infinity

Eternity and Infinity are twin beings that represent the universe itself, and they first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1965. It is believed that Stan Lee was hoping to introduce Eastern philosophy into the Marvel Universe. They are supposed to be one the most powerful cosmic beings, and in each of the Marvel multiverses, they appear in a different way. Normally, they do not have a physical body, and only take physical form when they are communicating with the Marvel characters.

Eternity created the Infinity stones, and it’s believed that whoever holds the Infinity gauntlet has the power to control the universe. This would mean that in the next Avengers movie, Thanos could actually overtake all of eternity, if he so chose. While the characters have not played a role in a main storyline yet, some believe that Eternity may have been an Easter egg in the movie Ant-Man.

2. The Living Tribunal

The Living Tribunal first appeared in the Dr. Strange comics in the 1960s. His purpose is to balance magical energy in the multiverse, so he only shows up when there is some kind of upset in the cosmos. The Living Tribunal is a floating head with three faces that represent equity, revenge, and necessity. He’s like the judge of the universe, and when all three faces agree, it implements justice when someone has gone too far.

Image result for living tribunal

In 2006, there was an additional fourth face added to the Living Tribunal, which was a reflection of the person who gazes upon it. He is supposed to carry out the will of the “One-Above-All,” who you will learn about riiiiight… now:

1. The One-Above-All

The One-Above-All is omnipresent and omnipotent. He sees all, knows all, and he can change anything across any dimension of universe. This means that none of the other characters we have mentioned in this list are more powerful than he is. He also created many of the other gods and cosmic entities that we see in the Marvel comics.

Basically, he is God… like, with a capital G. His job is to make sure there is a balance of power in the multiverse, and that existence doesn’t devolve into chaos. He rarely appears in the comics, but when he does, it is in various forms to various characters. So we never get to learn what he truly looks like.

Top 10 Highest Grossing Marvel Movies https://listorati.com/top-10-highest-grossing-marvel-movies/ https://listorati.com/top-10-highest-grossing-marvel-movies/#respond Tue, 07 Feb 2023 18:11:42 +0000 https://listorati.com/top-10-highest-grossing-marvel-movies/

Marvel cinematic universe is the highest grossing movies franchise of all time and the reason is their extraordinary next level movies. Marvel movies have been categorized in 3 phases and now it is the turn of phase 4 with new characters. But phase 4 is a later topic. Below we have listed Top 10 highest grossing marvel movies of all time with international revenue.

Highest Grossing Marvel Movies

Top 10 Highest Grossing Marvel Movies:

10. Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming was the next movie released just after Captain America: Civil War. After Spiderman was introduced in Civil War and homecoming became the first standalone Spiderman movie of MCU taking the rights of Spiderman from Disney. Spiderman is very popular among comic books readers and after homecoming he has become an onscreen marvel star.
