There are few things people obsess over more than their cars. They are vessels of personal individualism and convenience. Cars have facilitated many fond memories over the years. Yet, they are always a pain in the neck. Driving errors, constant maintenance, winding lines at the pump are a few of the common annoyances all drivers face. Here are 10 easy tricks to minimize those discomforts and, perhaps, to save your life!

10Jump Your Dead Car Battery with a Rope

The Common Problem:

The easiest solution to jump-starting a car is hooking it up to another battery. Most people already schlep around jumper cables. You might as well put them to good use. However, that implies that you can find someone to flag down. If you are stranded in the middle of nowhere, you have to get creative.

The Easy Solution:

This technique only really works for smaller vehicles with a manual transmission. All that is required for this trick is a jack and a rope. The jack props up the frame behind a front tire. Make sure that the car is parked in third gear. Turn the car on. Next, wrap the rope around the elevated tire several times. Give the rope a swift pull. The kinetic energy will get the tires moving. With this temporary fix, try and find a real jump.[1]

9The Arrow on the Side of Your Fuel Gauge

The Common Problem:

There are a lot of ways one can embarrass themselves at a gas station. Among the most common is pulling your car into a pump only to noticed the tank is on the other side. Back in the car, one has to try and finagle for a pump on the right side. It is a minor squabble, but still an annoying one.

The Easy Solution:

You do not even have to do anything for this hint. Luckily, the car manufacturers were looking out for us all along. They just hid the clue in a place few would notice. Along with the other symbols and warnings on the dashboard, there is often a small arrow on the fuel gauge next to the caricature of a gas pump. The relative position of the arrow corresponds with the fuel filler inlet. Whatever direction the arrow points, that is the side you fill it up on.[2]

8Toothpaste for Cloudy Headlights

The Common Problem: In adverse weather conditions, cloudy headlights can be the difference between life and death. Proper lighting is an essential part of navigating a storm. Organic debris from the road and the sun’s UV rays remove the protective coating over time. Instead of spending money replacing the blurry ones, there’s an unorthodox tip that you can use so you don’t look like a deer in, well…, headlights.

The Easy Solution:

The logic of this DIY trick is not much more complicated than the idea that toothpaste can clean more than just dentures. First, wash the headlights with soapy water or a cleaning solution like Windex. Next, take a sponge to remove the top layer of dirt. Put a dollop of toothpaste on the headlight. You only need a small amount—about the same that you, hopefully, use every day. Toothpaste with baking soda is the most effective choice. Then, get to brushing. For harder stains, more generous applications of toothpaste may be required.[3]

7Plunger out Dents

The Common Problem:

Outside of driving, the only real reason to have a car is to look at it. Unseemly scuffs can ruin the automotive experience just like any technical problem. As with another thing looking crappy, it’s time to break out the plunger.

The Easy Solution:

There is no way to really mess this one up. All you need is hot water and a plunger. For minor dents, the hot water may be enough. The heat might cause the metal and plastic to expand back into shape. For most marks, the physical suction of the plunger is necessary. Pour the water over the dented area to add a necessary level of moisture. Place the plunger on the surface. Pull back until the frame is back to its normal shape. This method works best with more recent dents while the surface is still malleable.[4]

6Hand Sanitizer for Frozen Locks

The Common Problem:

The problems with driving in the snow start before you are even behind the wheel. Ice can jam keyholes making them impossible to open. Unlike the rest of the car, scraping with a pick or thawing out with hot water can damage the lock’s internal workings. There is a much safer and quicker alternative.

The Easy Solution:

Hand Sanitizer kills more than just 99% of germs. One of the main ingredients of hand disinfectants is alcohol. Among the lesser celebrated features of alcohol is its freezing point. To harness that power, apply some of the gel to the tip of a car key. Edge the key into the icy lock for 30 seconds. The prolonged contact with the alcohol will lower the ice’s relative freezing point until it melts. After that, twist the key around and open the door. This comes with the added bonus of having your first line of defense against the coronavirus at the ready!

Outside of Purell, there are a handful of other common household items that can help if you know a cold snap is imminent. To prevent ice from building up on windows overnight, you can scrub potato slices on the windows. The sugars in the root vegetable prevent ice from binding. Spray cooking oil on the doors has a similar effect. The oil pushes the water away.[5]

5Kitty Litter can Defog a Window

The Common Problem:

After you have unlocked the frozen door, the car is still not necessarily safe to drive. The moisture in the atmosphere will likely cloud the windows. If one does not have time to wait for the foggy windows to defrost, a common item can resolve it in seconds. Do not be concerned about its more advertised use.

The Easy Solution:

Even dog lovers can proclaim the benefits of spare kitty litter. At its most basic level, the general purpose of kitty litter is to soak up moisture. To avoid any unsavory connotations, it is better to get odor free crystals and you definitely want to use new litter, not “used” litter. Pour the mix inside an old sock. Make sure that the socks are tightly bound. When tied off, place the sock on the dashboard. The crystals will absorb the condensation in the air. Additionally, kitty litter can be used for extra traction on icy roads—you just need to find a volunteer to run in front of the car sprinkling it as you go . . .[6]

4A Shoelace can Unlock a Car

The Common Problem:

Locking your keys in your car is the ultimate hack for car problems. Without keys, you cannot do anything else. If for some reason you ever want to retrieve your cars back, you can MacGyver your door open in a matter of seconds. The keyword here is “your” car. I’m not going to advocate for carjacking, no matter how clever the method. Having said that, here’s 11 Tips For Outrunning The Cops, just in case.

The Easy Solution:

Modern cars are designed to avoid this annoying occurrence. This hint is more practically useful for older models. First step is to take your shoelace out of your shoe. You are going to need the whole thing. Next, tie a small noose-like knot in the middle of the lace. The knot should tighten around the noose as you pull on the ends. Wiggle the lace in the crack between the door. Lower the lack until it’s looped around the head of the lock. Tighten the noose so that is secure around the head of the lock. Jerk up until you can open the door.[7]

3Put Your Key Under Your Chin

The Common Problem:

Newer cars have gotten rid of the key entirely. These “push to start” vehicles rely on an electronic signal to unlock the doors. Often drivers complain that the fob cannot reach the car. Instead of making the trek to stand next to your car, you can boost the input by sticking the key under your chin.

The Easy Solution:

It sounds like a myth. The facts do not seem to make sense on their face, or more technically under their face. It is true though. The New York Times posited that the possible reason was because the fluids in your head amplified the message. There is some debate on how effective the human brain is as a conductor. Some speculate it increases anywhere from a few car lengths to 85 feet. Either way, it’s a convenient improvement over having to walk to your car.[8]

2A Carseat Headrest Breaks a Submerged Car

The Common Problem:

In a submerged car, time is of the essence. In a matter of seconds, the ambient water pressure is impossible to overcome. If you do not open your window or door before the pressure imbalance, you just have to wait until equilibrium is restored when the car is filled with water. The delay can be deadly.

The Easy Solution:

You cannot rely on windows to be your escape hatch. You have to build your own. Do not waste oxygen trying to smash the window with your fists. Most manufacturers install cars with detachable headrests to quickly install them in the shop. Their incidental use as a breakout tool is a lucky coincidence. While there still is air in the cabin, remove the headrest. Start hitting the window in the corners with the supporting prongs. With enough force, the blunt tip of the stem should shatter the glass. Make sure to close your eyes, because glass will be everywhere. The cleanup is the least of your concerns though. Use the rod to break down the remaining pieces in the frame to avoid cutting yourself. Hopefully, you can swim to safety.[9]

1Only Turn Right

The Common Problem:

The one trick everybody wants to know is how to get the most miles per gallon out of their tank. If they could also save time that would be even better. Experts have weighted in. Their solution is cumbersome, but it works.

The Easy Solution:

This tip was professionally researched. UPS needed to figure out the best way to optimize fuel efficiency. They discovered that the best solution was to always turn right. Instead of waiting at traffic lights to cross over lanes, UPS drivers map out routes to always turn to the right. The method all but eliminates the drawn-out waits at the red light. UPS boasts that the policy has successfully conserved 10 million gallons of fuel each year. This technique lowers the risk of a head on collision and saves on fuel. Even if the detours lengthens the trip, the time saved from not idling offsets the winding route.[10]

Top 10 Hacks To Make Your Home Awesome https://listorati.com/top-10-hacks-to-make-your-home-awesome/ https://listorati.com/top-10-hacks-to-make-your-home-awesome/#respond Sat, 06 May 2023 06:37:34 +0000 https://listorati.com/top-10-hacks-to-make-your-home-awesome/

Your home is your sanctuary, the place you sleep, eat, hang out, and go to every single day. For this reason, it should be the place beyond all others, where most of our efforts go. The place we clean, look to to save the most money, where we try new designs, or other tricks to make our lives easier, and the place we can well and truly call our own and feel comfortable and safe in. In this list, we will go over ten hacks you can use to improve the utility, cleanliness, savings and brightness of your life at home.

Top 10 Cool Car Hacks Every Driver Should Know

10 Stuff Your Fridge And Freezer To Save Money (Jeans In Freezer Bonus)

One of the biggest energy sinks in your home is your refrigerator and freezer, and there is actually a really simple trick you can use to maximize the energy efficiency of your fridge. See, the thing is that the less stuff is in your fridge and freezer, the more often it has to cycle on and off in order to keep your stuff cool — as you might imagine, this uses a lot of energy. The more full you keep your fridge and freezer, the less overall space there is to cool, and there is much less energy used overall.

If you don’t have enough perishable foods to keep your food cooling apparatus full, you can put in canned food, cereal or other such things that normally don’t require refrigeration. Also, while we are at it, filling the freezer with a pair of jeans or two might help fill up your freezer for the trick, but it won’t do any good to your jeans. While the founder of Levi’s may be an expert at making jeans, that does not make him an expert at cleaning them. Scientists have said his weird trick to kill bacteria in jeans by putting them in the freezer not only doesn’t work, it can spread germs around.[1]

9 Heat Your Home With An Oven, Or Use A Fan And An Ice Bowl For Improvised AC

If you have ever had to live the struggle, you may already be aware of some of these tricks. Some people grew up with little to no heating or AC, or perhaps heat that was actually controlled by an apartment office and was often set at stun instead of kill. There are two tricks you can use to stay cool in extreme temperatures.

If it is really cold in the house, you can always turn on the oven and open the door. This will quickly flood the house with warmth, and once everything is nice and toasty, you can turn it off to save power (as long as your home is decently insulated). If you are too hot and don’t have adequate or no AC, you can setup a strong fan like a big box fan, and put a bowl of ice in front of it. As the ice melts the cool water will be evaporated by the fan and provide a small cooling effect — though it will never be quite as strong as full on AC. However, depending on how much work you put into your setup, you might be able to rig something quite effective together.[2]

8 Easily Mountable LEDS Are A Cheap Way To Add Some Really Nice Lighting To Cabinets

There are many cheap LED lights out there, from many different brands now, that are easy to clasp with simple adhesives that come off easily later, or magnets for metal surfaces. These LED lights can still be quite strong, and are often sturdier than bulbs, and save a lot of space on lighting. They also allow you to do away with the cost of getting lampshades, that could be destroyed anyway if you have pets.

But most importantly, they provide some really cheap and simple ways to get some really cool lighting effects. You can put them under cabinets, closets or other similar spaces for a convenient way to setup recessed lighting that doesn’t require workers in your home or expensive installation. Using them for recessed lighting also helps diffuse the light so the powerful LEDS are not in a position where they can temporarily blind you or your guests with their luminance.[3]

7 Dishwashers, Dryers And Washers Are Huge Energy Sinks. Wait For Big Loads

Most people know that one of your biggest energy sinks in the house is your AC, and heat, and usually your refrigerator as well. However, many people forget just how huge a power sink the dishwasher, dryer and washing machine are. These machines take the lion’s share of your power house (again, along with the AC and fridge) and there are easy steps you can take to mitigate the cost.

Many people will run the dishwasher, or laundry for just a few things, but considering how much power they use, you are really just taking money out of your own pocket. Unless you really need to wash or dry something right this minute, you would do much better to wait until you have enough for a full load. As for dishes, if you just have a few, you should hand wash them and save yourself a ton of money on water costs. While it may be luxurious to dry clean sheets just for that nice hot feeling, it is also an incredibly costly addition to your electric bill.[4]

6 Drilling A Hole In The Bottom Of Your Trash Can Will Help Prevent Sticking

If you have ever had trouble getting a trash bag out of a can, you could use this tip. We all know the struggle. You pull and pull and the bag won’t come out. Sometimes, you manage to finally jerk and yank and it comes out but goes everywhere, or the pressure vacuum is too great and it rips. Now, you have a huge mess to clean up all over your kitchen, and a lot of unnecessary frustration.

However, for those of you who feel the problem is unavoidable (so long as people occasionally overfill trash cans), we have good news. There is a simple trick that will solve your problems. Just drill a small hole in the bottom of the trash can. This prevents air from getting trapped and creating a vacuum that will ruin your day and leave you with a smelly mess all over the place. Just drill the hole high enough up from the bottom that any trapped liquids that leaked from the bag won’t leak out onto the floor, or you could end up with a different messy and smelly problem to solve.[5]

10 Animals That Have Figured Out Their Own Life Hacks

5 Ran Out Of Toilet Paper? Get A Bidet, Or Use Your Shower (Kleenex Are Also Great)

The coronavirus pandemic is in full swing, and in many countries around the world, people are panic buying large amounts of toilet paper. Some of them are wannabe entrepreneurs hoping to price gouge and quickly getting shut down by sites like Amazon, but many are just people hoarding it for now in case they cannot get it later. The strange thing is how much people have come to rely on toilet paper, as it really only became a household thing in the last 100 years. For those who came from the early days before toilet paper was big, they may remember a time when JCPenney catalogs used to be used instead.

However, like many in Asia and Europe have already discovered long ago, many Americans are now buying bidets because of the toilet paper outages across the country. A bidet cleans you up with a jet of water afterwards, and many countries prefer this to the insane amount of paper we use every year. If a bidet is a little expensive, or Amazon has them on backorder, you can use your shower instead, as a makeshift way to clean up really quick. Also, while they can be almost as hard to find right now, kleenex can also make a great alternative, as they are not too abrasive or uncomfortable to use.[6]

4 Clean AC Filters In The Dishwasher, Then Spray Them With Air Freshener

AC filters can be hard to clean, but you should keep an eye on them regularly. The dust and other buildup makes it hard for them to function properly. This makes you less cool and spend more energy at the same time. However, most methods for cleaning them are messy and can get a lot of dust spread around. First, if you have a huge amount of dust buildup, you should take it outside and carefully scrape off most of it first, then, you can take it and run it through the dishwasher.

Most AC filters are perfectly safe to run through the machine (although you should still check your particular unit first, as some manufacturers actually recommend against using the dishwasher or even putting it back in while even slightly wet) and it really gets them nicely cleaned like nothing else can. For a really nice, clean, finished feel and smell, you can saturate them in spray bottle air freshener before reinserting them and turning it back on. You can also spray some air freshener in the intakes (not the outtake vents) in order to maximize the nice smell now wafting around your house. Just remember the most important rule — you can damage your air conditioner very quickly if you run it without a filter in place.[7]

3 Put A Rubber Band On The Handle To Make Your Soap Pump Less At Once

Soap is actually incredibly concentrated, and in larger amounts, isn’t great for your skin. It is also incredibly unnecessary to use as much soap as most people use, and the soap dispenser is not helping. Most commercial soap dispensers are designed to pump out more at once than you really need to properly wash your hands, and this isn’t likely to change anytime soon. If the soap companies know you are using more soap than you need, you will run out and buy more sooner, so they have no incentive to change it.

However, there is a simple trick that many people use in order to save money on soap and not have their dispenser constantly pumping out more than they need. You just wrap a small rubber band around the handle of the soap dispenser. This prevents the pump from pushing down all the way, and allows you to get closer to the amount of soap you actually need to wash your hands (just remember to prevent the spread of the coronavirus you should wash your hands for at least twenty seconds with warm water).[8]

2 Use Drapes Instead Of Blinds If You Have Cats, To Prevent Quick Destruction

If you have ever had cats (or some dogs) you may find that venetian blinds, which are already one of the most prone to destruction inventions of all time, get easily destroyed and shredded to pieces by your loving fuzzy buddies. See, even if your cat or dog is not badly behaved enough to actually damage your blinds, and is extremely well trained, cats and dogs like to look out windows when they are stuck in the house. If there are blinds in the way, they will usually push them out of the way.

This easily starts to damage them quickly, and make them look unsightly while your pet is frustrated that you forgot to pull the blinds up for them often enough, when they want to be able to look outside. Drapes provide an alternative that allows you to much more quickly and easily give you that view or privacy that you want, and if they are up, a cat can much easier paw their way through to see out the window without causing serious damage. While they can still cause damage to linens of course by scratching, they are less likely to damage them by accident, and their are fabrics you can get that are less attractive to cat claws.[9]

1 Put A Cat Flap On Bedroom And Other Doors With High Pet Traffic

One of the most annoying things that most cat owners deal with, is the cat pawing or meowing at a high traffic door that it wants to go in and out of freely. One of the biggest offenders for your cat is your bedroom door (although there can be other doors that bother it in a similar way). When you want to sleep, or have some privacy, your cat still wants to be able to come and go as they please, and doesn’t appreciate being cooped up.

However, while cat flaps were mainly a thing on the front door, and were used to allow the cat in and out, they have fallen out of fashion because wildlife can just as easily get in. This is why we say the catflap should make a comeback, but on bedroom or other interior doors. Now, instead of being woken up by your cat meowing incessantly to get out (or in) you can just install a catflap, and have the peace of mind that the little critter can go where they want to without bothering you.[10]

10 Menu Hacks from Your Favorite Fast Food Joints https://listorati.com/10-menu-hacks-from-your-favorite-fast-food-joints/ https://listorati.com/10-menu-hacks-from-your-favorite-fast-food-joints/#respond Mon, 06 Mar 2023 01:02:34 +0000 https://listorati.com/10-menu-hacks-from-your-favorite-fast-food-joints/

There is nothing like some tasty fast food. For many of us, it’s convenient, affordable, and delicious. But getting caught in the same routine of ordering your “usual” from your favorite fast food joint is easy. Why not try a menu hack the next time you have a craving?

Menu hacks allow people to order (or at least request) special items from the restaurant. Sometimes these are items that have been discontinued. Other items were created by creative kitchen cooks or a simple combination of two (or more) normal menu items.

So, let’s get creative and try something new! Below, we’ll review ten menu hacks from your favorite fast food joints. From special sandwiches to fries, custom drinks, and desserts, this has all the fast food favorites you never knew you wanted!

10 Wendy’s Meat Cube/Grand Slam Burger

Our first menu hack comes from Wendy’s. Wendy’s offers a wide variety of hamburgers on their menu; however, they have another secret, special burger that you can order. This burger has three names, so make sure to order it carefully. It is sometimes called the Meat Cube, Dave’s Hot ‘n Juicy 1-lb Quadruple, or the Grand Slam Burger.

So what is it? The Meat Cube consists of four quarter-pound hamburger patties totaling a pound of ground beef. The patties are served on a traditional Wendy’s bun, complete with all of the typical toppings, including cheese. To order it, try asking for it by name. Explain what you need if the employee does not know what you are talking about. It is basically a 3/4 pound burger, with an extra patty and slice of cheese added.

9 McDonald’s Apple Pie McFlurry

Next, we’ll look at an unusual combination of two classic treats. McDonald’s is often the first restaurant people think of when they think of fast food. Because of this, McDonald’s also has a fairly extensive menu, complete with various burgers, chicken, fish, and sides. They also have some fairly iconic desserts. For our next menu hack, let’s combine two of their famous desserts that you may not have thought would complement each other.

The Apple Pie McFlurry is just what it sounds like. It combines a full apple pie blended with an original McFlurry treat. You may want to eat it quickly before it gets melty and congealed. But when enjoyed fresh, it’s hard to beat the combination of apple pie and ice cream.

So, if you are looking for a sweet treat that is both cold and hot, what is more American than an apple pie McFlurry from McDonald’s? You can also try blending other kinds of pie, but the Apple Pie McFlurry is by far the most popular.

8 In-N-Out Animal-Style Fries and Burger

In-N-Out is known for having delicious burgers and fries. Many consider their burgers to be some of the best fast food burgers in the country. However, some fast food connoisseurs want to take it up a notch. In order to do that, fast food aficionados should order their fries “animal style.”

Animal-style fries are the most popular menu hack for In-N-Out and maybe the most well-known on our list. In order to be “animal style,” the fries are covered with:

  • Melted cheese
  • In-N-Out spread
  • Grilled onions

These fries are basically a meal all on their own. You can also order an animal-style burger, which includes the same ingredients piled on a burger. Of all the items on this list, these are almost guaranteed to be available, so you definitely won’t get any weird looks from the cashier.

7 McDonald’s Land, Sea, and Air Burger

Our next menu hack comes from the king of fast food, McDonald’s. This one is… a bit of an acquired taste. Have you ever wanted the best of both worlds? What about the best of three worlds? Well, that is the idea with this Frankenstein of a sandwich.

The Land, Sea, and Air Burger combine three of McDonald’s best-known sandwiches. The land element of the sandwich is a Big Mac (or a McDouble). Next, the sea is represented by a Filet-O-Fish sandwich. Lastly, the air is represented by a McChicken patty… for some reason. (They do know chickens can’t really fly, right?)

You build your sandwich by adding the fish and chicken patties into the middle of your Big Mac. Open wide, and taste a little bit of everything with this monstrous sandwich. While employees may be aware of the Land, Sea, and Air Burger, it is probably a better choice for you to build your own using the three sandwiches. Just be sure to have a drink ready to wash it all down.

6 Burger King Frings

Hacks don’t necessarily have to be complicated. The next item came about simply because someone asked. Burger King is known for having delicious French fries; however, they are known for their onion rings as well (perhaps because most fast food restaurants don’t have onion rings). This leaves customers in a conundrum when choosing their combos.

Get the fries? Get the onion rings? Get both? Getting both is the way to go! You can simply order half fries and half onion rings by asking. At some restaurants, this is referred to as frings, but at others, ordering frings may leave your cashier confused.

To keep it simple, just ask for half and half, and enjoy your two favorite fried sides simultaneously. Be sure to try dipping the French fries in the zesty onion ring sauce as well. You may never have to choose between fries and onion rings again.

5 Starbucks Dirty Chai

If you’re at Starbucks, you are likely looking for a jolt of caffeine to get you through your day or night! So, why not try something different besides a simple drip coffee? Chai is a popular drink that is smooth, delicious, and easy to drink. However, it doesn’t pack the punch of a typical coffee drink. So, hack the menu and get everything you want!

Order a Dirty Chai from Starbucks by simply adding an Espresso shot into a traditional Chai Latte. A Chai Latte is already on the menu, but just adding a single shot of Espresso can take your caffeine game to the next level. Or, for those days when you are really dragging, why not add a second Espresso shot? Not only will a Dirty Chai give you the rush of energy you need, but it’s also packed with nutrients and all kinds of health benefits.

4 Arby’s Bacon, Beef, and Cheddar

Arby’s has the meats. We all know it. Now, the issue is, which meat do you choose?

Arby’s has several sandwich options, from Market Fresh sandwiches to classic Roast Beef. However, one of their classics, which they are best known for, is a simple Beef ‘n Cheddar Sandwich. This sandwich comes with thinly sliced roast beef, cheddar cheese sauce, and Arby’s sauce, all on a soft onion bun.

This is the favorite of many Arby’s fans, including yours truly. Take yours to the next level by adding bacon! Adding bacon to this already delicious sandwich adds a depth of flavor and texture, making what seemed like a perfect sandwich even better.

Arby’s employees will be happy to prepare this sandwich for you; just ask for a Beef ‘n Cheddar with bacon. You won’t regret it!

3 Chick-Fil-A Root Beer Float

Chick-Fil-A is the favorite fast food joint of many connoisseurs. They have a somewhat limited menu, based largely around fried chicken. However, because of this, just about everything on their menu is delicious. One of the best menu hacks from Chick-Fil-A is a simple root beer float. This involves asking for a scoop (or more) of their delicious Ice Dream treat to be added to Root Beer.

Be sure not to include any ice! The Chick-Fil-A root beer float is a dream come true (pun intended) because of their creamy, delicious Ice Dream. They didn’t invent the root beer float, but they may have perfected it. The friendly employees at Chick-Fil-A will be happy to help you with this menu hack.

2 Taco Bell Cheesarito

Taco Bell is known for making up food items. Crunchwrap? Cheesy Gordita Crunch? Mexican Pizza? Quesarita? These are just some of the many different food items that Taco Bell has produced over the years. They are creative and constantly develop new things for their fans to try. They even invented a new meal. Fourth meal, anyone? Because of this, their employees are often familiar with creating exciting inventions out of their typical ingredients. The Cheesarito is one such item.

It has an incredible name but is a pretty straightforward snack, at least by Taco Bell standards. The Cheesarito is a value menu item, too, making it one of the cheapest on our list. It is made with melted cheese, scallions, and Taco Bell sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla. Great for a small snack or as an additional treat to go along with your tacos. The Cheesarito may just be your new favorite fast food menu item.

1 Starbucks Cinnamon Roll Frappe

Another decadent drink from Starbucks rounds out our list. Starbucks has many, many drink options. But the one they don’t tell you about or put on the menu is the Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino. Like it sounds, this drink was created to imitate the taste of a fresh cinnamon roll (Cinnabon, anyone?). Creating this menu hack may take some careful explaining to your barista.

First, request a vanilla bean crème Frappuccino. Then, request two (or three, depending on taste) pumps of Starbucks’ Cinnamon Dolce Syrup. This will result in a delicious cinnamon roll drink that will make you feel like you are back in a mall food court. Most Starbucks should be able to prepare this drink as long as they have the Cinnamon Dolce Syrup available.

Starbucks has many menu hacks available, and you can make all sorts of custom drinks, from a Cake Batter Frappuccino to Candy Cane or Butterbeer. If they don’t, why not create your own new menu hack? It may be the next big thing.
