The plan surfaced after a watchdog group filed a Freedom of Information Act request, sparking a flurry of eyebrows. An Air Force spokesperson confirmed that while they constantly review funding ideas, the “gay bomb” never made it past the concept stage. Other off‑the‑wall suggestions—like bombs that attract stinging insects or unleash foul odors—were also tossed out.
